I know us writers are supposed to be able to do everything fast and accurate, but once in a while we need to re-group. I try to post every day, but life interferes. This week-end we spent cleaning Miranda, and getting a new book ready to publish. Miranda has been in storage and needs aContinue reading “Please Forgive me!”
He or she certainly looks fierce enough to melt show! Amazing!
When I first looked at this I saw white splashing water, then I realized it was either fog or clouds. Beautiful!

This one is for my vegan friend, Carin. I like it too!
Oh, Joni so beautiful and sad! Congratulations on your publication. Your story brought tears to my eyes and my soul. Your words sent pictures to my mind in living color.
You may wonder why I am blogging this. My friend Roadtirement posted a picture of a duck with a most unusual coloration. I googled it and found the species is Teal Ducks. A teal duck is a a type of small freshwater dabbling duck. Don’t know what a dabbling duck is? Well, it is aContinue reading “Teal Ducks”
OHH! Fresh raspberries! I remember picking them from the bushes and eating more than I put in the basket.
This is so beautiful, I wanted you to enjoy it, too!
reblogging so people I know can like your post, too.
It is interesting that it will only let me reblog after I post. Okay, but interesting.
You see something that you want and feel you need, like beauty, brains, or success, and you just have to pick it off the tree of life? Unfortunately, life is not like that! It appears that some people have the Midas touch, and everything they touch turns to gold. Others struggle their whole lives, andContinue reading “Wouldn’t it be wonderful if life was this easy?”
Us modern people could pay attention to some of these axioms; Keep skunks and bankers at a distance! Your fences need to be horse-high, pig-tight, and bull-strong! Life is simpler when you plow around the stump! A bumble bee is considerably faster than a John Deere Tractor! Words that soak into your ears are whisperedContinue reading “An Old Farmer’s Advice”
If you say so! I have heard of this many times, but have never seen it successfully done. It looks like the real thing. I have never heard of Lemon infused syrup, so maybe that is the ticket. If anyone tries it, blog your success.
Interesting combination. I am from Maine and love all seafood.
One that loves to bathe his newborn babies! And delights in making the mess that goes along with trying to keep all the tiny legs and arms in side the tub while being mindful or the most important head not going underwater. And can even bringing himself to clean up the mess. One that learnsContinue reading “A real Man is:”

Chocolate, and more chocolate! Love this!
Some words of wisdom to help you get through your day! “Never miss a good chance to shut-up!” “Good judgement comes from experience, and a lot of that comes from bad judgement” “Lettin’ the cat otta the bag is a whole lot easier’n puttin’ it back.” This one refers to politicians, I think. You tellContinue reading “Good Morning!”
Living Legend Northern No. 844 We were work-camping in Benson, Arizona, several years ago, and Steam Locomotive No. 844 train stopped briefly outside of town. It stayed long enough to get some pictures of the last steam locomotive built for the Union Pacific Railroad in 1944. I took a million pictures with my little Kodak! Continue reading “No. 844 A living Legend”
“Diamonds are nothing more than chunks of coal that stuck to their jobs.” Malcolm Stevenson Forbes Here is something to think about; Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up. Itr knows it must run faster than the fastest lion or it could get killed. Every morning a lion wakes up and it knows itContinue reading “Some early morning thoughts”
I love pasta! It loves me too! Easy to cook, and fulfilling to eat.
Am I the only person who has noticed the employment advertisements a tiny bit confusing? As a female “Peeking over the hill” seeking employment, find the flowery phrases leave a lot to be desired. Do you really need a 6 paragraph narrative to clearly state what you are offering? You might want to consider clearlyContinue reading “Help Wanted”
It is fun being in the same decade with you. -Franklin Roosevelt, in a letter to Winston Churchill Son, looks to me like you’re spending too much time on one subject. -Shelby Metcalf, Texas A&M basketball coach, to a player who received four F’s and a D No snowflake in an avalanche ever feels responsible.Continue reading “Just a couple things to think about”
Thanks again, Stuart for the memories.

. There are three kinds of men: The ones that learn by reading. The few who learn by observation. The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves. This week we are going to be confronted with proof of this axion by Will Rogers. And if women feel high and mightyContinue reading “Will Rogers”
OHHH! Sweet Chocolate frosting dripping over chocolate brownies! I am in love.
Beautiful pictures! Wonder why someone needed a sign to tell that was a tidal zone.
Unfortunately, I discovered this a hundred years ago when I joined a church and taught Sunday School. I never attended as a child, so my week was spent studying the old testament. I taught using an easel with white paper and marking pens. It surprised some of the other teachers that my class prayed. Duh!
My two favorite flavors, Chocolate, and Chocolate! Cheesecake ain’t so bad either!
No this for breakfast sounds just about right! Hey, I am old and don’t have to set a good example for my kids, so can do what I want. Not sure one scoop is enough.
These photos were taken with my Kodak Easy Share CD82, it has traveled the Western States and has been my friend. The pictures and adventure was in Coconino Forest Preserve. When our young friends Carol and Joe asked us if we wanted to go along, we were thrilled. When they found out our ages, theyContinue reading “Our Trek out into the Wilds of Arizona”
